About William Blonigan

William Blonigan

I started taking photography seriously on a 2014 vacation to Maui, Hawaii. Hiking beside a mountain road, I slipped and fell on a muddy trail while trying to take a no-look snapshot of a distant waterfall through heavy vegetation. My hip crushed the LCD screen on my point-and-shoot camera against the ground, and I threw out my back. So I reconsidered both my choice of camera and my approach to photography.
